Technical trading systems at a glance

Managed accounts are portfolios that are managed using trading systems and CTA strategies. Their cost structure is considerably more favorable than that of other alternative investments – for instance, there are no up-front-fees – and they are far more transparent. And since managed accounts are run for each investor individually, clients can check up on all transactions, charges and the portfolio’s general development on a daily basis, which they cannot do with hedge funds or certificates.

Clients may also sign an agreement authorizing Portfolio Concept to manage their account on their behalf using a variety of technical trading systems and CTA strategies. Most of the systems in question are trading strategies developed by external providers.

The performance data shown includes the net return generated by the systems as well as all commissions, system costs and any slippage.

The “real” start of trading may come after an interruption in trading.
Past gains are absolutely not indicative of future gains. Please note that past gains, some of which have been exceptional, were achieved in the presence of correspondingly high risks. This is particularly the case where just one or only a small number of technical trading systems were used.

*If the latest performance figure is not available, the prior month is shown. The date of last update is indicated on the factsheet (PDF).
